More Information for Ferry Foot Passengers


  1. There is no public transport connection at Heysham from the 19:45/20:00 sailing from Douglas.  There are some bed and breakfasts in Morecambe which cater for late evening arrivals from these sailings.
  2. Late evening sailings to Liverpool have few public transport connections.  There are many hotels which cater for late evening arrivals from these sailings
  3. Foot passengers on the 02:15 sailing from Heysham will either need to take a taxi to the ferry terminal or use a Stagecoach bus to Heysham Towers - 20 minute.
  4. If you are travelling by train have any problems en-route and are in danger of missing the Heysham train then alert train staff so that alternative arrangements can be put in place for you.
